Capana wins another contract with major Brazilian operator

Capana to supply roaming billing in brazil

Recently, we were happy to announce CapSettle deployment expansion in the Latin American market by announcing that a major mobile operator in Brazil had selected Capana after an RFP evaluation process.

Today, we are happy to announce yet again, that Capana will supply roaming billing to a second major mobile operator in Brazil.

We are already seeing a major increase in interest of our solution around the world, especially in the Latin American market. With the win of two new contracts in Brazil in such a short time frame to accommodate such major events as the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympic , we hope more operators will investigate and benefit from the flexibility and revenue generation and cost reduction potential that is enabled by CapSettle.

The new version of CapSettle offers a variety of new capabilities and key features such as RAP handling and RAEX for automated exchange of roaming agreements as well as standard functionality such as TAP 3.12 and a powerful rating engine.  Our unique “Business Logic Rule Engine” enables operators to adapt the CapSettle solution to meet market requirements in a timely fashion without Capana assistance or development.

About the solution

Our Roaming Billing solution, CapSettle Roaming, handles the operator to operator settlements for traffic generated by roaming or service provider subscribers. This is done according to the standards set by the GSM Association (GSMA) through generation and processing of Transferred Account Procedures (TAP), as well as invoice and statement generation. The system is also equipped to handle the generation and exchange of Near Real Time Roaming Data Exchange (NRTRDE) files. NRTRDE is used in order to prevent fraudulent activity in the roaming network.

With CapSettle Roaming, we have taken our extensive experience from the roaming industry and developed a flexible solution based on the requirements of mobile operators.
