Capana Implements Content Settlements

Telenor has decided to increase the usage of its current Roaming and Interconnect Settlements platform to cover also Content Settlements. The first step is to introduce revenue-share based settlements for the wholesale Service Provider partners. Handling of Service Provider content settlements will go live in Q4 2010.

Introducing a complex settlements process in just four weeks confirms the system flexibility of CapSettle, as well as the professionalism and complex business understanding that is a known trademark of Capana.

The Service Provider content settlements process is the first step towards having all Telenor Denmark content settlements within CapSettle. This is a project planned for 2011.

CapSettle Hits Another Milestone

With its capacity to process more than 4 billion transactions per day, the Wholesale settlements flagship CapSettle challenges earlier limits. Although CapSettle is perhaps not yet likely to find an operator with that enormous amount of daily Wholesale transactions, in the re-seller and MVNO set-up, the daily transactions will increase. In order to be able to handle this, CapSettle has extended its potential.

Capana Releases Roaming

The next step towards true convergence in wholesale billing has been taken, as Capana releases its support for roaming settlements in high performance application CapSettle. This includes support for TAP, RAP, NRTRDE, RAEX and EID. In terms of wholesale, true convergence means that CapSettle can now handle all different parts of the partner to partner relation, including areas such as Interconnect, Content, MVNO and, naturally, roaming settlements.

MTN Congo upgrades to Convergent Settlements 3.1

During the past week, another upgrade of the Ericsson and Capana, Convergent Settlements solution, for interconnect and roaming settlements, has gone live.

The customer, MTN Congo, has upgraded their current release 3.0 to 3.1, and the upgrade has been performed on site by engineers from both Capana and Ericsson. The upgrade has provided MTN with the latest tools for securing revenue and performance of their wholesale billing business.

Telenor Denmark upgrades to Convergent Settlements 3.1

On the 16th of June, Telenor Denmark went live with the upgraded roaming and interconnect settlements solution; Convergent Settlements.

The upgrade from CapSettle 2.1 to 3.1 has been performed by Ericsson and Capana during the end of May and beginning of June, providing Telenor with the latest tools for securing revenue and performance of their wholesale billing business.

The introduction of the convergent settlements concept has been a great success for us. The new application has widely exceeded our expectations and the project has been delivered right on schedule! The CapSettle framework and supported processes have provided us with the necessary tools to perform correct and accurate settlements with our partners. Capana implements SalesTrack for IntraFish

IntraFish in Norway is a subsidiary of Dagens Næringsliv. They are currently using Capana’s SalesTrack for advertising, and have now also bought SalesTrack for subscription. The implementation is set for February of this year.
