CDRator A/S, an Enghouse Networks company, is pleased to announce another successful deployment at FNB Connect, a new MVNO (mobile virtual network operator) service of First National Bank in South Africa.

FNB is the first South African bank to offer its own SIM cards to customers; this is the next step in its digital evolution. Launched on June 15, 2015, FNB Connect is a holistic loyalty solution that innovatively combines mobile
telephony services and banking and offers both prepaid and post-paid voice and data products.

CDRator’s fully-converged billing and customer care supports critical functions for FNB Connect’s self-service features enabled through integration with FNB’s electronic banking platforms. Standard functionality includes auto top-up, balance management through automatic airtime renewal, bill and usage notifications, and SIM card management.

In addition to their technology platform, CDRator brought significant industry experience to the table that enabled FNB to launch a comprehensive range of communication services to their banking customer base. FNB and CDRator are both looking forward to taking FNB Connect to the greater heights.
