Enghouse Networks Introduces Sports Hub to Help Operators and Broadcasters Create the Next Generation of Sports Experiences
New capability combines live streaming, real-time sports data, and fan engagement into a single sports destination
Markham, Ontario – September 1, 2026 – Enghouse Networks, a global provider of telecommunications and media solutions, today announced Enghouse Sports Hub, a new capability within its video platform designed to help operators and broadcasters create sports viewing experiences that extend engagement beyond the live match.
As competition for premium sports rights intensifies, the media industry is increasingly looking beyond simply streaming live events. Operators, broadcasters and content providers are seeking richer digital experiences that increase fan engagement, improve subscriber retention and open new monetization opportunities. Enghouse Sports Hub is designed to help them create a single destination for sports fans before, during and after every match.
Sports Hub combines premium streaming with live sports data, personalised notifications, team and competition tracking, match timelines, statistics, and highlights, bringing together content discovery and fan engagement within a single user experience across TV, mobile and connected devices. Unlike traditional streaming experiences that focus solely on video delivery, Sports Hub enables operators to create a richer sports destination that encourages fans to engage more frequently and for longer.
Preliminary operator trials are now underway, with early customer feedback helping refine the user experience ahead of broader commercial availability.
“Sports viewing has evolved beyond the live broadcast. Fans expect immediate access to statistics, updates, highlights and personalised content wherever they are,” said Mick McCluskey, VP of Product Management at Enghouse Networks. “Sports Hub enables operators and broadcasters to create a more engaging destination for fans while strengthening subscriber loyalty and creating new opportunities for service differentiation.”
Sports Hub will be demonstrated at IBC2026 on the Enghouse Networks stand (Hall 5, Stand B23), where visitors can experience live demonstrations and see how operators and broadcasters can deliver richer digital sports experiences.
