GIS Network Planning and Management

Plan, build, and manage fiber and broadband networks with clarity and control

End-to-End Network Visibility, Powered by GIS

Enghouse Networks delivers a complete geospatial planning and operations system for telecom, broadband, and utility providers. Built on the cutting edge Esri technology, it supports every phase of the network lifecycle including planning, design, construction, operations, and reporting. Our platform reduces design errors, improves rollout speed, and gives every team accurate network visibility.

Plan

Model and plan every layer of your network with accuracy and control.

  • Visualize physical and logical infrastructure, including full circuit paths and optical signals
  • Map cables, splices, ports, and enclosures with real-world detail
  • Validate designs with fiber rules, calculate loss, and auto-generate BoMs
  • Track assets with linked cost, lease, and usage metadata
Design

Plan and build networks using real-world specifications, automation, and validated designs.

  • Draw fiber, copper, and coax routes
  • Automate topology-based network design
  • Validate signal loss and shortest paths
  • Generate bills of material and funding estimates
Operate

Use real-time data to resolve issues quickly and keep services running.

  • Trace faults and analyze root causes
  • View alarms, coverage, and service impacts
  • Run OTDR and saturation reports
  • Support field teams with mobile network access

Deploy and Connect Easily

Flexible Deployment for Any Environment

The solution is web based and built on the latest ArcGIS Enterprise platform and Utility Network framework. It supports multiple deployment options to match your operational and security requirements.

You can deploy the system in the cloud, in a self-hosted environment, or as a hybrid model. All deployment types support browser and mobile access, and integrate with field tools like Survey123 and ArcGIS Field Maps.
A cloud deployment offers fast onboarding with automatic updates and minimal infrastructure overhead. Self-hosted options provide full control over data and system configuration. Hybrid deployments combine the advantages of both, supporting field access while maintaining secure internal data control.
Regardless of the method, the platform supports high availability, secure access, and real-time API integration with OSS and enterprise systems.

Integrate with Enghouse OSS Platform

This GIS platform connects directly with Enghouse’s broader OSS suite to support end-to-end service delivery. These systems share data with the GIS platform, enabling automated handoffs, faster response times, and complete network visibility. All integrations use standards-based APIs.

Report What Matters

Generate reports and dashboards for audits, operations, and planning using your real-time network data. The platform supports both spatial and non-spatial reporting, allowing you to create trace reports, bills of materials, and usage summaries. Use pre-built or custom map templates and build dashboards that show key performance indicators and overall network health.

Use Case

Bringing Fiber to 22 Million Homes with Confidence

Bouygues Telecom is one of France’s largest mobile and internet providers, with over 8,000 employees and 500 stores across the country. The company set a goal to expand FTTH and FTTO access to over 22 million homes, including underserved rural areas.

To support this rollout, Bouygues needed a network planning platform that could pre-build service areas, calculate fiber counts, automate design based on topology, and generate materials lists and costs. After consulting industry experts, they selected the GIS Network Planning and Management solution from Enghouse.

The platform now helps Bouygues visualize, analyze, and share network information across teams, including engineering, sales, and executive leadership.

“Together with Enghouse, we have built a new system from scratch with a very substantial load within a few months. Because of this, we have faith in our partnership to carry out further evolutions of our projects.”

— Gerald Jabouley, Head of IT Fixed Network, Bouygues Telecom
