Dialogic® DSI Signaling Web Services
Mobile networks contain a wealth of information and inherent functionality. Despite this, mobile operator’s frequently need to extend that functionality in order to address particular network requirements. Often there is a need to create new bespoke applications that can interface with existing network nodes (HLR/HSS, MSC/MME etc) to extract subscriber information send notifications. Such applications often need to be developed in a short timeframe to address business needs or solve newly discovered network problems. The application developer needs to work with current tool sets and without needing to learn full signaling protocol stack detail.
Dialogic® DSI Signaling Web Services (DSI SWS) is a scalable, high-performance Signaling platform with a Web Services API which provides connectivity to Diameter, Sigtran and SS7 mobile networks to simplify mobile VAS application development. DSI SWS can enable applications built using standard web services development techniques for Authentication, Location Based Services (LBS), SMS Messaging and Unstructured Supplementary Services Data (USSD).

Extending Core Network Functionality
DSI SWS allows operators to extend network capability by creating bespoke elements for a range of capabilities such as customised GLMC (Gateway Mobile Location Centre) nodes to support emergency response or legal intercept requirements. Alternatively, SWS can be used simply to query existing network nodes to extract subscriber data from the HLR/HSS.
Extends the Reach of Business Applications
DSI SWS can enable a broad range of Value-Added Services (VAS) in carrier environments, including handset provisioning, subscriber alerts, emergency response, mobile advertising, and mobile payments. SWS can be used to perform many SMSC functions and interact with customers using USSD.
Virtualized Deployment on Premise or Cloud-Based
Dialogic® DSI Signaling Web Services (DSI SWS) based on the Dialogic® DSI G5V Signaling Controller is a compact, cost-effective software-only virtualized telecommunications Signaling platform, providing core network connectivity for use in all-IP SIGTRAN Signaling environments. The G5V software-only appliance can be deployed on premises under hypervisors such as VMware or KVM or in the Cloud using an AWS EC2 environment. The software is supplied as a single OVF distribution. The DSI SWS on G5V allows network operators to provision the optimal amount of resource and select the hardware platform of choice.
Built in Management
The DSI SWS features full built-in management capabilities with both command line and browser-based graphical user interface (GUI) for all operations, administration, maintenance, and provisioning functions. The GUI supports dynamic configuration, status and alarm monitoring, interactive control, and a wide range of diagnostic capabilities. A multi-user environment complete with password security, configurable user privileges and full audit trail ensures adherence to chosen security policy.
